The soup pot is simmering, the sourdough bread is cooling on the kitchen counter, and voices mingled with laughter float down from my daughter’s room. Life feels pretty good at times like this, and I pause to enjoy and give thanks for the moment while it lasts. I am glad we have a season set aside to count our blessings and give thanks to the Lord, who is the source of everything good and perfect (James 1:17). I run through life at such a pace that I often fail to enjoy what God has given and what He is doing. I am trying to expand Thanksgiving from a day to a season and to expand my capacity for giving thanks.  By the way, that slice of sourdough rosemary bread was delicious and I was thankful for it!!

Our Bethlehem Harvest Open House will be held at our home in Friendswood on Saturday, November 21st and Monday, November 23rd. We will be home and open for business between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. or between 3:00p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, the 21st. We will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 23rd. Please feel free to come any time between those hours to pick up your order or make purchases from the stock we have on hand. Please note that we will NOT be available between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday the 21st. We apologize in advance for this inconvenience. If you cannot come during any of our Open House hours, just let us know and we will arrange for another time that suits both of our schedules.
Payment is due when you pick up your order. We can accept cash, personal checks or credit/debit cards. If anyone would like to pick up their order in Missouri City instead of Friendswood, our friend Melissa Chapman will be providing a delivery service for a $10 fee.
